As a child, Ruth Ann was found expressing her creativity with a red crayon but unfortunately it was on the walls of her family home in Oakville, Ontario.
Her parents wisely recognized an early love of the arts and enrolled her in classes at the Oakville Art Society. From there, she cultivated her growing talent all the way to her fine arts degree at OCAD.
